Roterra® is a puzzle game series that uses an innovative mechanic to manipulate a rotating world. Players solve complex mazes in a cube-shaped puzzle world where characters have the power to shift the ground to make new paths. Launched in 2019, there are currently 2 titles in the Roterra® series with a third in the works. Roterra® – Flip the Fairytale and Roterra® Extreme – Great Escape were both featured in the Apple AppStore as Game of the Day. Read the stories here and here. Excavate! is a multi-game archaeology series based on the C3 skills of Inquiry and Evaluation of Evidence. Use Archaeological thinking as you excavate and analyze old and new world civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Rome, Egypt and MesoAmerica. Built in consultation with social studies teachers, each section of the game begins with an overarching question, to focus student inquiry as they dig, analyze, report and learn through object-based evaluation. All games in the series include: highly detailed, authentic artifacts including special 3D artifacts that can be manipulated by the player; historically accurate, amazingly detailed ancient scenes that bring the sites fully to life; extensive information about the ancient civilization; and supporting teacher materials. Excavate! supports the new GBLxAPI learning data format (gblxapi.org), which reports student progress against C3 and ELA standards in an easy to understand format, allowing teachers to clearly see the work their students are doing. There are currently 6 titles in the Excavate! series: Rome, Greece, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Mesoamerica and Byzantine.
