Meet
Landon Verce

Hello I am Landon Verce and I am 15 years old from Durango, CO. This year I will be going to school at Durango High School and I will be a freshman. In the spring, I will play lacrosse, but my favorite sport is definitely skiing!!! I have been skiing for about 11 years and every single day I ski is always the best day of my life. No matter how hard I crash or how cold it is, it's always a fun time. I have competed skiing and done fairly well: when I was 13, I competed in a competition at Durango Mountain and qualified to go to the NEXT Snow Search in Vermont. I have also gotten 1st place in a Jib Jam, and 2nd & 3rd place numerous other times at competitions at my home resort. My most skilled skiing expertise is in the park and pipe.

A big priority of mine is keeping up good grades in school. My favorite classes are Science and English. When I am not skiing or studying, I am having a fun time with my friends. There are tons of things we like to do together. Durango offers tons of sports to do like mountain biking, long boarding, skateboarding, swimming in the river, jumping off cliffs, and pretty much anything you could imagine. We also play guitar hero, ping-pong and anything to do to have fun.
